Culture
Kedarnath has several ethnic groups that follow the culture for centuries. The notable ethnic groups in the place are the Bokshas, the Bhotias, the Rajis, the Jaunsaries, and the Tharus. Different cultural festivals are held every year, during May-June the Kedar-Badri Utsav is celebrated, in the months of July-August, there is a festival of Janmashtami.
